Hello. Assalammualaikum.
Hi everyone. How are you? I hope you like my first blog before. Today I want to talk about the subject for this semester. As you all know, I already in semester 3 in UiTM Segamat, Johor. This semester I have 7 subject all together. I am so thankful because I don’t have to repeat any subject from semester 2. The subject for this semester is BEL311, ECO211, QMT181, MGT269, TPT252, CTU241 and HBU135. In every subject I will tell you about total credit hour, assessment, the lecturer and my impression about the subject.
The first subject of course BEL311. This subject is an English language subject which must be taken by the student to prepare for the MUET test and it is 3 credit hours. For the assessment, this semester for this subject we don’t have to do listening and test anymore like semester 1 and 2. This semester we have to do term paper which give 30 % marks. This term paper is really new to us but I will try my best to get a higher marks. Besides that, 20 % marks is for the discussion and 10 % is for online assessment that a student must answer it in the student portal. The other 40 % is for the final exam. Now is the time to talk about my BEL311 lecturer. My lecturer name is Mr Izuan . He is a tall person and wears spectacle. He looks likes a serious man but I really okay with it and doesn’t mind at all. Next is about my impression about the subject. This subject can help me to improve my writing and give me many general knowledge. It’s was fun you know! Since secondary school, I always think that learning English is fun and useful to me in the future.
My second subject is ECO211 which is Macroeconomic. This subject worth 3 credit hour . The assessment is 20% test, 10% quiz, 10% assignment and lastly 60% final exam. To pass this subject, I have to do very well in my test so that I can cover for final exam. My lecturer name is Puan Diana Binti Mazan. She is very beautiful and has a round face. My impression for this subject is very good because I like economic subject. I get an A for my Microeconomic so I hope I can get an A for this subject also.
Next is QMT181. This is the code for subject Statistic and has 3 credit hour. For this subject, its cover assessment for about 30 % test. 15% for test 1 and another 15 % for test 2. Another 10 % is from the assignment, 5% and quiz 5%. So, 60 % is for the final exam. I have to work really hard in final to get an A although the other assessment will cover for it. My lecturer name is Puan Noraini Amit. She is a kind person and easy to communicate with. I can ask anything that I don’t understand and she will explain it again. My impression for this statistic subject is I have to do many exercise because I heard students said that this subject is tough.
Another subject for this semester is MGT269. This subject is about management and for this semester, we have to learn about business communication. This subject has 3 credit hour . For the assessment, 60% is from the assignment and 40 % is for the final exam. My lecturer name is Miss Fazlin Natasya Binti Abdul Halim. She is very cute and chubby. She also has an easy going character. Next is about my impression for this subject. This subject is teaching me about how to communicate between people in the surrounding, in the office and when conducting a meeting. Its look hard but its feel new to me and I want to try hard to pass it.
TPT252 is another subject for this semester. It has 3 credit hour. The assessment is based on 30% test and 10% quiz. As usual, 60 % mark is for final exam. This is the second subject of transport after the TPT150 that I take it when I was semester 2. My lecturer name is Leftenen Colonel Mohd Ramzi Hj Mohd Nor. He already retired from ATM. I just meet with this lecturer one time only so I don’t really remember his face because he has to go to outstation. My impression for this subject is good because this subject related to the course that I have take for my diploma so I need to remember everything to apply it in the future.
Besides that, I also take subject CTU241 and it has 2 credit hour. The assessment for this subject is 15% for the test, 15% for the paperwork, 20% for the presentation and lastly, 50% for the final exam. My lecturer name is Ustazah Siti Aishah Binti Sokhibul Fadil. She is probably from Kedah based on her dialects. She is very talkative person and it is fun to hear her stories. My impression for this subject is I have to score this subject because it is what we already learn. I also get to know how is the economic based on Islamic perspective.
My last subject is HBU 135. This is my co-curriculum course that is Kembara Kesatria. I have taken this course from semester 1 until semester 3. It has only 1 credit hour. The assessment is by 30% camping which is what we do in this semester, 10% is from the notes that we must write in the book and submit it before final exam. 20 % mark is from the quiz and 50% is for the final. Encik Faizal Bin Yahya will conduct this co-curriculum for this semester. He is funny but at the same times he can be really strict. My impression for this subject is kind of hard because we have to listen to everything that commander said and every work need to be done in limited time but it is the only way to teach us to be hardworking and independent.
